I just came from Walgreens store and purchased the 2 theraflus as pictured in the ad. I didn’t get initially the register rewards from the cashier. I have used a $1.00 off manufacturer coupon. The cashier said because i used the $1 coupon, it made the total purchase less than $10, therefore
it didn’t generate the RR. The cashier called the supervisor/manager and she also said the same thing. They were nice and gave me the RR anyway (good customer service !) I thought it made sense that the ad states purchase has to be total $10 and not less to qualify for RR. I came home and saw this article about a glitch in printing RRs. Now, i am puzzled, especially, when you mentioned you can use $2/1 coupons for each theraflu, making the total purchase to $6 and still get the $5 RR. According to the Walgreens’ store, that won’t qualify you for the RRs!
Please clarify whether coupons can be used which will make the purchase less than $10.
