Yesterday we braved the nasty winter storm hitting our state to take our son the the Children’s Hospital one hour away from home. He’s fine, nothing serious just something that needs to be taken care of in six months. But that’s not the point of this story.
We stopped on the way home By Costco to pick up some milk. Out of curiosity, I took the extra steps to see how much the eggs were selling for and I couldn’t believe what I saw. The 3 dozen- carton of eggs was only $2.97 down from the all time high I found 3 weeks ago of $4.99. My husband and I came to the conclusion that it was a combination of being around Thanksgiving time, higher demand and perhaps some speculation? I don’t know but I was glad to find them that cheap.
