4 Tips for Saving Money Everyday

It’s difficult to save money these days. With the price of everything going up every day and the busy-ness that keeps us all going constantly, it’s easy to spend a lot of money without even realizing it.

These tips for saving money everyday will help you put some money aside and grow your savings! I know I’m not the only one that can use a bump in my savings, right?

4 Tips for Saving Money Everyday

Budget

Budget. Budget. Budget. Yeah, I know it’s not a ton of fun to sit down and work on your budget regularly, but you absolutely have to do it. Setting a weekly budget date can make all the difference in how much money you keep rather than spend.

Meal Plan

I know, I know, you have heard this a lot, but you need to meal plan. Meal planning makes all the difference when it comes to your budget and saving money. Meal planning not only saves you money, but saves you lots of time as well.

Plus, it is so convenient to not have to stress about what you are going to have for dinner each night.

Turn off the TV

Let’s get busy, friends! Seriously though. Do you know how much more you can accomplish in life if you turn off your TV and get busy reaching your goals and being productive? Plus, did you know that people spend between $50 and $100 per month on streaming services. Many of us let go of cable in exchange for streaming services to save money, but as it turns out we are spending just as much by signing up for multiple streaming services.

Make Your Coffee at Home

I know, I know, how much are you going to save by skipping out on your coffee each day, but seriously. Think about it. At gourmet coffee shops (the ones most of us go to), the average drink is $4.24.  If you actually stick to drinks at that price, that’s over $20 per week! That adds up over the course of a month or a year.

My teenage daughter works at a coffee shop and the average drink order there is $7.50, so I think that $4 is a pretty low estimate.
